aStitchWorks Concepts  offers dressmaking, curtain and hobbycraft courses with affordable rates for residents.  We designed to courage individuals from low income people wish to upgrade themselves and using these trade skills to source for an alternative of extra income.

1) Elementary Dressmaking -$150 (M) / $165 (NM) (8 sessions)

   (基本縫紉- $ 150（会员）/ $ 165（非会员）10 教訓）
   -Dress / Blouse / Shirt / Skirt / Culotte or Pant 
 

Subject Content:
-measurement taking
-basic drafting, cutting and sewing
-hand stitching techniques

Class Requirements and Remarks:

Please bring A1 whitepaper, measuring tape, tailoring ruler, pencil, scissors, cloth pins, other tailoring accessories and cotton fabric for making a blouse and skirt (4 to 5 meters depend your size)

Tailoring material pay to trainer directly

2) Traditional Dressmaking -$185 (M) / $195 (NM) (8 sessions)

   (傳統製衣- $ 185（会员）/ $ 195（非会员）（8 教訓）

   -Baju Kurung / Chong sam / Punjaba 

 

3) Intermediate Dressmaking -$195 (M) /$220 (NM) (10 sessions)

   (中級縫紉- $ 195（会员）/ $ 220（非会员）（10 教訓）
   -Exclusive / Classic Dress / Skirt / Pant

   -Men Clothing: 1 Pant and Shirt (男裝服裝：褲子和襯衫)

Subject Content:

-measurement taking
-drafting techniques, mocking, cutting
-sewing techniques

Class Requirements and Remarks:

Please bring A1 whitepaper, measuring tape, tailoring ruler,  pencil, scissors, cloth pins, other tailoring accessories and your own fabric for making a dress and (3.5 - 5 meters depend your size)

Tailoring material pay to trainer directly

-sewing methods and equipment.

Please bring A5 hardbook, A1 whitepaper, measuring tape, tailoring ruler, pencil, scissors, cloth pins, other tailoring accessories and fabric for making a curtain.

2) Curtain Sewing -$150 (M) / $165 (NM) (4 patterns X 8 sessions)

   (先进的帷幕 - $ 150（会员）/ $ 165（非会员）（8 教訓）

Subject Content:

-taking measurement window
-practical sewing of curtain designs and different types of pleats in pap-pop and goblet style
-sewing techniques 
-create and sew your own pattern

Class Requirements and Remarks:

To bring A1 whitepaper, measuring tape, tailoring ruler, pencil, scissors, cloth pins, other tailoring accessories and fabric for making a curtain.

-be dazzled by crystal beads
-let your fingers do the stringing
-create different designs and patterns.

Participants are to bring their own scissor, cutter plier and long nose plier.

3) Creativity with Stocking Decor Making -$70 (M) / $85 (NM) (1 session)

Class Content:

Making Stocking Flowers is the art of transforming used stockings into a variety of artificial flowers or other forms.

Class Requirements and Remarks:

Material cost $10++ to pay to trainer directly.  Participants are to bring flat plier, cutter and scissor.

-different designs of smocking using beads and other accessories
-style of cushion shape 

Class Requirements and Remarks:

-include sponge and notes will be provide
-bring 1.5 yard of satin fabric or your favour fabric
-bring tailoring materials - needle, thread, scissors, etc.
